Three steps between the two, and no training in any of them.
From Excel or your E-Class Record. Names, LRNs and gender are picked up, and you check the split before anything is saved.
Written works, performance tasks, examinations. The moment a score lands, the term grade follows DO 015 down to the transmutation table.
A pre-flight check names every missing score with a link to the cell. Then print the whole class in DepEd order, or send each learner a signed link.
Cards in hand, and every grade you can explain.
This is Learner A from the order's own worked example in Annex D. Drag a slider or type a score, and the arithmetic follows as you move: percentage, weight, initial grade, then the adjusted table.
The order says 88. Lite says 88. The weights, the 30-30-40 split inside examinations, and all 41 bands of the table are transcribed from the published order and locked by tests. Which rules apply to my class?
A grade is only useful if you can stand behind it. Lite is built so that you can.
The weights, the 30-30-40 split inside examinations, and all 41 bands of the adjusted table are transcribed from DO 015, s. 2026, and checked against the order's own worked example every time the code changes.
Open any grade for the full arithmetic, from raw score to table band, on one page that prints. Nothing to reconstruct by hand the night before.
No school account owns your gradebook. LRNs are encrypted at rest, every change is on an audit trail, and you can export everything as a spreadsheet at any time.
Bringing Lite to your school?
Hand your school head the one-pager, or the twelve-page brochure with the whole picture.

The parts of grading that take evenings, handled inside the gradebook.
Paste your class list from Excel. Names, LRNs and gender are picked up, and you check the split before saving.
Invite subject teachers by email or class code. Their gradebook links to your section, only the learner list merges, and their scores stay exactly as encoded.
Missing scores are named with a link to the cell, so nothing goes out half done.
Arrow keys move, every cell saves on its own, and blank, zero and excused are three different things.
A learner with an email gets a signed link that expires. Everyone else is in the print batch, in DepEd order.
Every account computes grades the DepEd way and keeps your class record. Confirming your school email gets you real report cards. A license gives you room for a whole school year.
Set up your class and try every step while we confirm your school email.

Grade 7 – Rizal is a made-up class kept here for you to try. Pick a seat and you are signed straight in; look at anything, change anything. It is not a real school, and it all resets tonight.
8 learners across 6 learning areas. is encoded, marked and released; is halfway through.
These seats exist for demonstration only. Every learner, teacher and grade in them is invented, no real school or child is involved, and none of it is a DepEd record. Anything you change is gone by morning, nothing you do there reaches a real inbox, and your own gradebook is somewhere else entirely — set one up when you are ready.

For the first 15 confirmed teachers at every school, yes. From the next teacher on, each teacher pays for their own license to the end of the school year. There is no trial period and no card to enter, and nothing is locked away: without a license you still work within the starter limits, and your classes and your learners' data stay yours. Without a license you still keep a full gradebook: one class of up to 15 learners, real report cards on the default layout, and your own class record whenever you want it.
No. Your gradebook is yours. Sign up with your DepEd or school email and it is verified on the spot; other addresses are reviewed by a person within a few days.
Choose quarterly when you create the class and the DO 8, s. 2015 weights and table apply. Semestral works for Senior High School. The choice is fixed once scores exist, so nothing shifts under you mid-year.
Their report card goes into the print batch: one PDF for the whole class, in DepEd order. Email is optional throughout. A class with no addresses at all releases by print.
Yes. Invite them by email or share the class code. A teacher who already has a gradebook for your section links it, and only the learner list merges. Their scores stay exactly as encoded.
